I’ve made a little progress in reading and movies this week.
Movies
I watched Primal Fear starring Richard Gere and a young Edward Norton. I watched it in high school and was enthralled with it both then and now. Gere is a cocky defense lawyer trying to prove that his client (Edward Norton) is innocent by reason of insanity for killing the archbishop. Laura Linney, the prosecutor is making it clear that he knew what he was doing the whole time. The ending is a twist I didn’t see coming the first time.
Books
I finished one book, Forbidden Falls by Robyn Carr. It’s book 8 in the Virgin River series. Kindle has the series in book bundles so I might get those if I want to read the rest of the series. I’m currently reading The Riddle of Penncroft Farm. Super juvenile but I remember enjoying it in 6 grade and wanted to re-visit.
TV
Survivor is back on air and we watched most of the episode. I’ve never seen the medic being called so many times in one episode, let alone the first episode. I hope this isn’t foreshadowing the rest of the season.
