The struggle is real.

I want to write more, I’m just in a little slump at the moment.

I had a wonderful, relaxing weekend this past weekend. I didn’t go out the house in three days, not since I got off work Thursday night. We read, watched tv, did a little exercise, did some laundry. Overall, it was nice.

I made myself go to the grocery today to pick up some things. I remember now why I don’t like going out the week of a holiday: too many people on the road and too many people in the grocery store. I don’t particularly like the town I go to get groceries but it’s 20 minutes closer than the other towns where I could possibly get groceries. Maybe I’ll suck it up and go the other direction anyway, just to avoid the place.

  1. I can relate to not wanting to do the groceries when it’s crowded out. In fact, I’m thankful that the supermarket near my place opens at 8:30 a.m. because that allows me to do my shopping before my day starts.
