About a week ago, I decided to delete my Twitter account. It’s not something I used all the time but I enjoyed following certain bloggers and authors and even some actors.
The last few months on there hadn’t been fun, maybe even longer. It’s become a platform where people have posted their political beliefs that often dissolved into fighting. As much as I tried to avoid it, it was inevitable, especially when people I followed decided to make a comment on it.
Now that Elon Musk is at the helm, I wasn’t sure how much longer the ship was going to float, so I bailed. It’s too bad, as I thought it was cool to post about my favorite things in a few words or less.
But, it just wasn’t worth it to me anymore. I’m sure another social media app will rise to the service and maybe it’ll be better than others, but we’ll see.
In the meantime, I’m feeling a little lost not following my fellow bloggers and YouTubers! What are some good things you’ve read online lately?
I’ve become a fan of the Discord & Rhyme podcast. Although if you’re looking for connection with give and take, it’s not the right place at all.
