Question of the Week #2

Do you believe in ghosts or evil spirits? Would you be willing to spend the night alone in a remote house that is supposedly haunted?

I’m not opposed to the belief that ghosts and evil spirits exist. I think there are certain instances when someone died suddenly and didn’t have to process their death, like if someone was murdered or died in a horrific accident, and they didn’t know they could move on to their heaven, whatever their beliefs dictate. There are also people who are unwilling to move on for whatever reason and therefore walk the earth for a certain amount of time. I don’t necessarily think it’s a type of purgatory, but maybe it is. I’m not God and don’t know the answers to all the mysteries of the universe.

I also believe in evil spirits. Because I belief in God and heaven, clearly there is the devil and his minions trying to destroy what is good in the world. It’s not that hard for me to believe that spirits influence us to do their bidding in this world, so why wouldn’t we have good spirits as well as bad?

    1. Of course! I’ve had a couple experiences I couldn’t explain so I’m always on the side of “it’s possible.” I bet I would too if they paid me.
