Nicholas Sparks Books You Should Read.

Nicholas Sparks is another who has established himself as THE author for sad romance novels set along the Carolina coast. He’s been around for a number of years now and people either love him or hate him. Most of his books follow the general formula for a storyline, so going in, you know what you’re going to get. I used to read him all the time, but not so much anymore. In spite of all this, there are a few of his books that have stuck with me even after having finished reading them.

The following are some of my favorite Nicholas Sparks novels:

  1. Three Weeks With My Brother (a memoir)
  2. The Last Song
  3. The Guardian
  4. A Walk to Remember
  5. The Notebook
  6. True Believer
  7. Dear John
  8. Message in a Bottle
  9. The Rescue
  10. Nights in Rodanthe

Do you read Nicholas Sparks books? Why or why not? What are some of your favorites?

  1. I have never cried so much reading a book as I did reading Three Weeks With My Brother. I’ve read several of his novels, but I don’t think I’ve picked any up since I read At First Sight… which made me so angry in the end that I wanted to chuck it across the room.

    1. I still think about his memoir—it’s such a great read. That end was a little frustrating though! I thought he was going to make a happy ending for once and didn’t. Don’t remind the last book I read by him—apparently he got divorced a while ago and I guess the first couple books he published dumb that time were weird so I never tried again.
